How do I choose the best kite size?
The ideal size of the kite depends on the size of your set (number of kites), your weight, and the average wind speed in your local area.
The majority of kitesurfers eventually have a kitesurf pack of two or three kites: a small one for strong winds and a large one for the average wind speed in your local area.
Always start with the largest kite in your set, as this allows you to learn kitesurfing in calmer conditions.
If you want to buy more than one kite in these sets, contact us to get a personalized quote.
For most kitesurfers, this size ranges between 9 and 12 square meters.

What is the ideal size of my twintip kitesurf board?
The size of your twintip kiteboard also depends on several factors. The main factors, just like when choosing the right size of the kite, are your weight and level of kitesurfing. It is also good to know if you are riding in a flat area or with a lot of chop. The heavier you are, the larger the kiteboard you will need.
Even as a beginner kitesurfer, it is recommended to practice with a slightly larger kitesurf board. A larger kitesurf board makes it easier to get started, sails more easily against the wind, and feels stable. If you are more advanced, a smaller kitesurf board can be more fun as it feels more playful.
To give you an approximate estimate, a kitesurfer weighing 60 kg would use a twintip that ranges between 133 and 138, depending on their kitesurfing level. A kitesurfer weighing 90 kg would use a board of approximately between 139 and 152, again depending on their kitesurfing level. If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact us.
What width of bar do I need for my kite?
Most kitesurf brands offer kitesurf bars in various sizes and line lengths. The narrower bars (smaller) are designed for smaller kites of 10m and less. Small kites are inherently fast. Because the bar is narrower, when maneuvering, you create a less significant angle, making the kite feel less twitchy. Larger kites, on the other hand, are naturally slower. To effectively maneuver a large kite, a wider bar is preferable. The increase in width allows for easier maneuvering, making the large kite feel less sluggish. However, not adhering to these guidelines does not mean that the kite will not fly well. Kitesurf brands also offer different line lengths. Longer lines provide more power, especially in light wind conditions. Shorter lines result in quicker maneuvering, which is beneficial for kitesurfing in waves, for example.

With all our kitesurf packs, you can also order a pump. On the product page, you can select a pump that corresponds to the specific brand and kitesurf pack. It is important to have the right pump for your set because not all pumps fit all kites. Different brands use different valves with different accessories.
